Well kids, it’s one again time for the release of this years Warrant Officer promotion board results. First, I’d like to congratulate the Army for getting them out before the effective date of those promotions. The numbers I present here are some pretty quick beer math and should not be taken as an official analysis of the board results. Also, I am only looking at the tech numbers here, primarily for Signal and Cyber
Promotion to CW3
First out of the 782 CW2 that were looked at 545 of them were selected giving us an overall pickup rate of about 70%. All and all not to shabby. For above the zone pickup was 14/36 or about 39%.

Once again, this was a great year to be a cyber warrant (I still don’t personally consider EW as cyber but hey) and signal overall did great except for 255As.
Promotion to CW4
First out of the 385 CW3 that were looked at 305 of them were selected giving us an overall pickup rate of about 79%. All and all not to shabby. For above the zone pickup was 15/27 or about 55%.

For cyber there was a pickup rate of 1/2 (50%) while signal slightly better with 5/8 (62%).
